I have a good understanding with our learning so far, especially with the 4 spheres: Hydrosphere,Atmosphere,Geosphere,Biosphere.
Hydrosphere works on a water cycle. It rains onto mountains which contain water and usually makes rivers which then turns into mist then the mist goes up into the sky forming clouds just to rain again into a continuous cycle.
The atmosphere is made of all types of gases mainly nitrogen and carbon dioxide protecting the earth from sun rays and radiation.
Geosphere is the earth’s crust which is mainly a rocky land filled with rocky mountains and inside is materials.
Biosphere is all the wildlife from forest to swamps and most importantly plants to feed animals and water for them to drink.
But I do have trouble understanding underground mining. Especially the “rock cycle” and the difference between underground mining.
I have a good understanding of deforestation and how it affects the 4 spheres with mainly carbon being released everywhere.
The hardest one for me to understand is fossil fuels.
I know the basics but I don’t know anything specific like the Carbon Cycle, and Ocean Acidification.
For the test I was very nervous because I didn’t know where to start but once I started to write I just kept writing. It was kinda hard to do the equations but I got through it at the end. I hope I at least get an achieved for the assessment. Anything above like a merit or even excellence I will be very happy.
